I guess affected class should make an impact visible enough for people to realize they cant let us down.
Example : keeping all our savings and checking cash in our country banks. This will not provide free money to local banks.
Lets say
500k people pulling out 25k each. Thats a big sum. Its just investing our money in our country bcos we DONT expect GCs!
Also buy airtickets from broker from your home country which will benefit your country getting the sales tax!... so on.
I have nothing against anyone. I am just saying how we can assert our importance.

Correct me If I am wrong
out of 45K members let's assume 22.5 K are EB2 and 22.5 K are EB3.
Even If 11.25K (EB2)+11.25K (EB3) = 22.5 K (Total) contributes $25 Each Problems gets solved ... but the catch is ....
Even 11.25 K EB2 members are not contributing because they don't have to as their problem is solved
Even 11.25 K EB3 members are not contributing because they are not sure even with this contribution their problems gets solved.
Many people are saying that EB3 members are not contributing that's why you are lagging etc...
EB3 Members who contributed are feeling the pain because even after contribution they are not getting the results and EB2 members who didn't contributed are getting the results...

Let's assume EB3 at 11.25K. They all know that their are royally screwed unless there is legislative action. So, I would expect 11.25 K EB3 to be at the front of this funding drive. Let's face it EB2 will likely become current sometime in 2012 (per Q and Teddy in other thread), no one is ever predicting this to happen for EB3 barring law change. IF you are in such a big hole, you will have to come forward and work for yourself. We want others to work for us and solve our problems. That is my issue here. With 11.25 K EB3 members we would have still collected quarter million bucks.(@ 25$/person) If EB3-I does not care for itself, why would anybody else give a damn? (PS : I did contribute for the drive as I want everybody's issues with respect to GC resolved, not just mine)

As an employee, Except for the 485 filing, you are not supposed to pay for anything for the GC. The company that sponsers you pays for all that.
It is illigal for an employee to pay for the GC process.
I am not sure what you are trying to get. Are you going to write a letter to USCIS that you commited an illigal act? And you want to involve bunch of people along with you?

2007 June visa bulletin moved EB3 India to June 2003. The very next month, they made everything current. Things went out of control after that. For some reason, in my dreamland, I am fantacizing the first move to repeat again. May not make everything current, but atleast, move EB3 to june 2003.

Per my lawyer,
1. USCIS does not mandate that you must inform when you invoke AC21. You can inform them if and when you get RFE.
2. I strongly believe that we should not accept job offers that is not related to the job you originally applied for. My lawyer says it is usually vague and if USCIS determines other wise I will be in trouble. And for the same reason I am hesitant to accept very good employee offer from my current client.
3. Self employment is ok as long as the requirements are met and that is what is I am doing now.
I changed my job twice using AC-21 informed USCIS once, I don't see any risk itz a law, as long as you are able to produce paperwork that your current job is similar to previous one you are safe, any decent employer would give you a supporting letter (oh ya exluding blood sucking desi pimps).
I find many guys calcluate too much and let go good opportunities, get real guys no one is behind you if you have job and not done anything wrong,

I have not heard of any rejection. But, the fact that you're receving 1099-MISC means that you're not full time. In fact, you're not even an employee for the company. If you receive an RFE, I assume you'll need to produce paystubs (which the OP don't have). In addition, you won't even get 1099-MISC until the year end. In short, no proof to overturn RFE.

I hope many people will contribute when the days are close. The sad part is that they do not realize that IV needs to know the collection amount details in advance to organize a mega event.

I filed I-485, I-131, I-765 for myself, my spouse and my 10 year old daughter. The papers were received at NSC on 30th July, 07. Three days back we received all the receipt notices with receipt date shown as Aug 1 and notice date shown as sept. 10. All fine so far.
I then went to USCIS site to check on-line status, but here was the surprise. It gave the correct status of all the receipt notices, except that of I-485 and I-131 for my daughter. When I key in her receipt nos., I get the message that these nos. don't exist and I should enter the correct no.
Now what is that? How come my and my spouse's record is entered but not of our daughter's inspite of the fact that we have her receipt notices with a proper receipt no.
Can someone suggest what could be the reason and what course of action I need to take so that the situation is corrected. Help please

Im the only one who has not recieved the notice yet in my friends circle, I have opened an SR last week. Mine is TSC application. Are there any TSC guys yet to receive the FP notices.
